The word “Kawili” is a Visayan word meaning “a nostalgic feeling of affection”.

When people say that they have kawili for a place it means they miss it and want to go back there. We hope that this is how our guests will feel after staying with us.

Resort info…

Kawili resort is located 500m down the road from the cozy town General Luna. The resort features cottages with horrible WIFI, hot water, AC, sound system and relaxing lounging area with swimming pool. The livingroom opens everyday at 8am and serves breakfast, sandwiches and cold drinks.

Kawili is a small resort with a very relaxed atmosphere so instead of having a menu we cook a family style dinner some nights. That means we always use daliy fresh ingredients and the guests can make requests for the night. There is a guest kitchen for our guests to use.

Our location makes it easy to also go to other resorts and restaurants for dinner. The best beach in General Luna is right in front and there are several great surf breaks only a walk or paddle away. When we feel lazy we just hop on a boat and cruise out to the surf, that is pretty much everyday. We work with some great locals and offer surf lessons to the beginners, trips to the more advanced breaks for those with more experience.

Kawili is close to many other Siargao resorts so there are plenty of places and bars to go to. Just in walking distance are Bravo resort, Tattoo jungle disco, Barrel bar and Viento del mar for those party fridays.

We also can arrange or help out with any trips and excursions the island has to offer.

We accept payments via credit card, paypal and swish, a 5% surcharge is added on the total when using this mode of payment. Cash is and will always be the king!

What do you think is the best island island in the Philippines? I vote for SIARGAO! The past 4 days, I’ve been exploring this magical island, and words cannot describe the beauty that I saw… White-sand beaches with crystal-clear ocean water, an abundance of coconut trees, laid-back surfer vibes, welcoming local people and extreme overall happiness that still has me smiling ear to ear as I type this 🙂 Siargao tops my list for the best island I’ve ever visited (with #2 being Siquijor and #3 Palawan). Yes, my top 3 favorite islands on earth are all in the Philippines. I'm on my way back to Manila right now with my favorite Filipino airline, Cebu Pacific Air For more on Cebu Pacific's cheap deals --> bit.ly/CEBxDrewBinsky Like Drew Binsky on Facebook for more travel videos & inspiration
